Summer in Korea (Part 2)

Friday June 20 now. We’ve done so much since the beginning of the week. Watching the Korean soccer team play was exciting. The national pride here is intense. Everyone figured out a way to watch the game during their morning commutes to work. Every play was met with screams. It was great.

Today we went to Namsan (cable car up, hiking down) where there were lots of tourists from all over the world. Here’s the view of the city, shrouded in fog, from the top:

Afterwards, we went to a Korean BBQ place where you eat standing up over a grill. Best I’ve ever had. Then dessert, of course.

So much good food here. Tried the pizza in Korea. Not bad.

ImageAnd of course, the famous Bulgogi burger, the food I missed the most since my last visit:

ImageWe also went around to all the outdoor marketplaces that Korea is so well-known for as well as the more modern, air-conditioned malls.
