Last night, I finished my first screenplay for a short film Josephine and I are making. Even though it was really late at night, I felt so excited to start the next stage of our process that I couldn’t go to sleep or a while afterwards. Josephine is getting the cast together. Cameras will start rolling in 6 weeks.
Today was Opening Day 2013 and I am so glad baseball season has started again. It has been a long winter..
Ryan had gotten me Opening Day tickets for my birthday back in December, so we took Bart to the Coliseum. We got to our seats just as the pregame ceremony began. The team was introduced and the fans were already into it. I think I’ve missed the fans the most. Oh, and the food. The giveaway was a rally towel and a magnetic calendar.
Brett Anderson started off great by striking out the side. The game was pretty uneventful until the Mariners scored a pair of runs. Then, I just started getting pissed. Unfortunately, the A’s lost the opener to the Mariners, as always. We stayed until the last out and then squished onto Bart to get home.
