Yesterday, Simon, Steve, Sean, and I went to the South End Rowing Club for the 13th annual Handball Hall of Fame Tournament. Simon and I were playing in the C Doubles. Our first match was at 11 a.m. and we got to the club at 10.
After warming up and getting ready for the game, Simon and I talked some strategy. We won the first and second matches, taking the first game and moving onto the finals. The finals was at 5 p.m. so the team ate lunch and explored Ghiradelli Square together.
Since we had time before the finals, we watch some of the A players. Then at 5, we headed down to Court 2 for the match. Simon and I ended up winning in the first two games again and received very nice shirts for prizes.
Because the banquet dinner was in less than 15 minutes after our match, I took the quickest shower of my life, then enjoyed a nice, relaxed dinner. The highlights of the dinner included some great speeches by the new Hall of Famers. By 8 p.m., the dinner was over and we were all ready to head home. I was relieved that I would get an extra hour of sleep that night.
When I finally got back to Berkeley, Palwasha and I made root beer floats. We then watched a movie before going to bed. This morning, we went to see Paranormal Activity 4, which was not scary at all. We were disappointed.
